The goal of this training is to provide each participant with the basic concepts related to Child Welfare, including regulatory requirements and current topics. This basic course will cover the complicated and ever changing funding streams within child welfare services. CPE will be offered with up to 16 hours dedicated to gaining a basic understanding of the complexities of the continually shifting IV-E and IV-B programs, including changes for the Family First Prevention Services Act (FFPSA) and Comprehensive Child Welfare Information Systems (CCWIS); as well as proper reporting of eligible expenditures.
